Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English performer and songwriter, was born in London on 22 August 1995. After a stint as a model and actress, she signed with Warner Bros Records. She launched her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached 3 among the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. This included Be the one I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. Lipa was awarded her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act, and her album has been certified platinum in a variety of countries.
